On July 9 – 11, 2012, NADO is partnering with the EDA Philadelphia Regional Office to welcome participants to the 2012 Regional Conference to learn about the latest strategies and resources for successful economic development.

Representatives from economic development districts, university centers, revolving loan funds, state and local officials, and tribal planning programs are invited to attend this conference.

 

The Conference will feature the following Know Your Region Training:

Regional Innovation: Roles for EDDs and New Approaches to CEDS
NADO and SSTI will lead a discussion about regional innovation: what is it, what do we know about best
practices, and how EDDs can take a leading role in their regions. Specific topics will include venture
development organizations, statewide CEDS initiatives, examples of innovative EDD projects, and snapshots
of how EDA-funded data tools can be used to identify innovation assets.
